the perfect restaurant

i went to lunch with mario at chevy’s. they have really good complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. so you know our cheap asses just kept asking for the chips and a couple glasses of water. anyway, mario has this grand idea to open “the perfect restaurant”, where he would have the best food from all the different restaurants and serve it at his. pretty good idea. he said “i want chevy’s chips and salsa, red lobster’s biscuits, and the cheddar cheese toast from sizzler as the appetizers”. that’s a damn good idea. don’t y’all go stealing it now. lemme copyright just in case. There. leave it alone. So i’m going to add to his perfect restaurant, and include the following:

calamari from Vigilucci’s on Carlsbad Blvd

pesto pizza from Spiritos on Carlsbad Blvd & Carlsbad Village Dr.

garlic pasta with shrimp from Red Lobster

cream of forest mushroom soup from the MiraCosta cafeteria (don’t knock it ’til you try it… ol’ cafeteria lady Maria be throwin’ it down at MCC)

What else should the perfect restaurant have? Drop a comment.

well… for damn sure there has to be some:

    pizza rolls from seau’s
    cinnamon oblivion from outback
    potato skins from claim jumper
lobster bisque from the beach house
a big ass dutch apple pancake from the original pancake house (because pastry and sugar are always welcome)

    and we can’t be forgetting…

the side of "dirty beans and rice" from popeyes, accompagnied by a gaggle of breadsticks from wings-n-things

if you wern’t hungry before, i believe you just got schooled ;)

why are we all stuck on appetizers? That would be the perfect restaurant… all of your favorite appetizers in meal portions. That would be like 15 potato skins. lol
