reasons i hate people #462

i absolutely cannot stand when people use “caps lock” on the keyboard to capitalize words.
The sequence:
1. Hit caps lock
2. Type letter
3. Hit caps lock
4. Type rest of word.

The sequence:
1. Hit shift and letter at same time.
2. Type rest of word

why? what’s so hard about Shift? see, that saves a whole two steps. I’m all about efficiency. most of the time. Jonathan hates it when people type letters on the left side of they keyboard with their right hand. “Left index finger for T, I said!!! Left index finger!!!” Does that make me a keyboard snob? A QWERTY freak? I don’t know. Put your fingers on the home keys(A-S-D-F-J-K-L-; for those of you never had a typing class) and let me know your pet peeves.

    those are definitely on par with highlighting the whole word document… all twenty-three pages… manually. you know there’s a ctrl-a (or command-a for us apple users) that’ll do all’a that in about 1/128th of the time, right? right.
