1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why?
It’s impossible to narrow it down to one, but Stevie and Prince are the staples in my collection.

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?
I absolutely hate T.A.T.U. There’s something about russian lesiban girls kissing on stage and pretending that they actually create real music that bugs me.

3. If your favorite singer wasn’t in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?
Who, Stevie? Yeah, he’s cool peoples. Prince might be too arrogant for me, but I’d still kick it with him. He’s a little freaky… just like I like ‘em.

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?
I’ve been to a few… Smokin’ Grooves a couple years ago (the Roots, Lauryn, Outkast, Truth Hurts, J5), Dave Matthews a couple times, Floetry… but by far, my favorite has been Musiq Soulchild. He killed it. Just rocked out. I couldn’t believe it. Outkast comes in a close second, they were off teh hook live.

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?
I download songs (oh shush, like you don’t). I like to say that I download songs and if I like ‘em I go buy the album, but that’s not true. You gotta earn my money, ’cause I had to earn it. Half the time Jonathan would buy the CD and I would just burn it. I think the last CD I bought was Talib Kweli (Quality) and Donnie (Welcome to the Colored Section). Usually, you gotta be damn good in order to get my money. Buying Stevie or Prince or Musiq or Donny isn’t a problem. I’ll (as jonathan would say) throw down for those. All you otha suckas gettin’ d/l’ed.
