switchin’ it up

i switched the order of my comments from ascending to descending. or is it the other way around? i don’t know. which ever way it was before, it’s the other way now. so don’t get confused like I did after I switched it and forgot. I said to myself “why did justin leave the same comment twice?” lol oopsie.

fruitcup flavor of the day: cherry gel with mixed fruit
yay! my day just isn’t complete without a fruitcup.

my new favorite addiction is apple cider. the real stuff. the unpasturized it’ll get you sick if you don’t refrigerate it or sterilize it stuff. that’s what i’m talking about. fresh and natural. my parents went to julian and picked some up, along with some apple butter, which i was also craving.

speaking of food and cravings, i bought dr. phil’s weight loss book a while back. i returned it the day i bought it. it’s like “deal with your feelings deep down. do you eat because you’re depressed or bored?” man, i eat ’cause i’m hongree. i eat ’cause it tastes good, whether i’m full or not. damn. i ain’t got no feelings. it just tastes good. just get to the part about losin’ weight already. then every other paragraph is “don’t skip this section - it’s vital that you follow this book all the way through”. First of all, Dr. Phil ain’t lookin’ too slender. Second of all, a sista just likes food. is that so hard to comprehend? it’s good. dammit. in-n-out, vigilucci’s, spiritos, the beach house, anita’s - whatever. it’s good. it ain’t no deep seeded hatred toward my father, or some traumatic childhood experience with mashed potatoes. my wide ass just needs to go to the gym - i don’t need a book to tell me that. i’m glad barnes and nobles takes returns. and it’s the holidays and moms be cookin’. please.

speaking of good books, i read two this weekend (what? i’m on a reading kick).

the da vinci code: read this last sunday. the whole damn thing. in one sitting. i haven’t read 450 pages in one day since high school. it was good though. predictable at times, but interesting none the less.
my rating: 3 out of 4 back fat rolls

the secret life of bees: interesting. not usually the type of book I read. This one took me saturday night and sunday afternoon.
my rating: 3 out of 4 back fat rolls.

the 5 people you meet in heaven: awwwwesome quick read. a good 3 hour book. it really puts life in perspective.
my rating: 4 out of 4 back fat rolls

I agree with you on dr. phil. I wasn’t impressed with his other book. I can’t even remember the title of it, goes to show how much I liked it.

I was always thinkin’ the same thing about Dr Phil. Don’t be preachin’ to the choir. For some added fun with Dr. Phil, visit ebaumsworld.com, and click on the soundboards link. You can prank call someone with his voice. Lots of fun!
