I know, I know, I haven’t updated.
Sigh.
Here’s a mini update:
Finally saw J*Davey up at The Roxy in Hollywood. It was fantastical… scrumtralescent, even.
Met very cool people while at The Roxy. Big ups to Kim, Wayne and Amber. I heart QanVas.
My hair is red.
Finally went to Vegas as an adult (going to Circus Circus when you’re 8 sooooooo doesn’t count).
Finally met my co-workers from NY.
Lost wallet at the airport.
Found wallet at the airport.
Went up to the LBC to see QanVas perform.
Ate chicken and waffles.
You’re now up to date.

The loyal reader(s) know who Krissi is. If you don’t, read this and this first.
It started off all in innocent fun. Now, she’s been teetering between number 1 and number 2 on MSN results for “Krissi”. We have, ladies and gentleman, reached a new high.
Krissi is now *the number 6 result on Google*!!! She’s even beating krissi.com! I can’t say I did it all on my own, though. Thank you, Tater, in your continued efforts to make my big sister the number one Krissi in the world.
Let’s do this, people! Let’s make Tina our number one Krissi!
Update: Just in case Google decides to change their algorithm, I’ve taken the liberty of getting a screenshot of the Google Results. Click here.

Since the State of the Union was this week, I’d like to see where your heads are at as far as politics. I haven’t really been much into politics until recently, thanks a lot in part to Jason. Now I’m all Air America‘d out.
1. Democrat, Republican, Middle of the Road, Independent or Non-Voter?
2. Did you vote in the last presidential election?
3. How much do you follow politics and what’s going on in our government?
4. Do you know who Jack Abramoff is?
Happy Friday, kidlets. Answer in the comments.

Watching the State of the Union address got me thinking about a lot of things last night. We got some corrupted sons of bitches in office, don’t we? Damn. I couldn’t believe how many contradictions there were. One that sticks out in my head is the American Competitiveness Initiative, where Bush declares that we need to get our children more interested in math and science, to be more competitive in the engineering world… YET, student loans were cut $12 billion dollars last year. SO, basically, let’s get everybody super smart, but don’t expect us to help you get there. ::sigh::
Krissi sent me an article yesterday which lead me to this: Congressional Staffer Edits. That’s a list of Wikipedia entries that have been edited by people from White House IP addresses. Wikipedia – the FREE encyclopedia that’s supposed be be completely neutral, being edited by White House staffers. Edits include, but are not limited to, removal of Abramoff ties and pro-Bush point-of-views. That’s scary shit. If they’re giong through little old Wikipedia making changes, imagine the damage they’re doing with the media they actually have money invested into. ::sigh::
I’m also convinced that corporations will be running our world in the next 25 years. Soon, programs will be “brought to you by” Shell-AOL-Time-Warner-Disney-Pixar, a subsidiary of Viacom-Qualcomm-Exxon-General Electric.
Remember when stadiums and ballparks used to be named after REAL people? In San Diego, for instance, we used to have Jack Murphy Stadium, which is now Qualcomm Stadium. The new ballpark is “Petco Park”, they didn’t even bother looking for someone to name that after. The Sports Arena is now the “iPayOne Center”. Soon Lindburgh Field will be the Biogen Idec Airport, and the Gaslamp Quarter will be owned by San Diego Gas & Electric. ::sigh::
How do we fix this mess? We’re so deep in it now. Since we’re stuck with Dubya until 2008 (note the countdown on your right), we better fix Congress while we still have a shot. The Supreme Court looks a little far gone (Thank you for confirming Judge Alito ::throws up::), but we can still get some Dems in Congress! It is a voting year. California is lucky enough to be one of those blue states. ::sigh::
I’m ranting. I know you hate the serious blogs, I promise to blog about food or something tomorrow.
