I LOVE the fair. once, long ago, jonathan and i accidentally had “crazy carnie ride day” and “crazy carnie food day” on the same day. we only had to make that mistake once. eventually, ride day became extinct. every year, there’s something new and deep fried. a few years back it was the deep fried twinkie that had everyone going nuts. then came the deep fried snickers bar, and the deep fried oreo. this year, they’ve taken it to a whole new level.

now, just out of sheer curiosity, we have to try it, right? we haven’t decided when we’re going to the fair this year, but when we go… krispy kreme chicken sandwich with cheese and honey, here i come. this should definitely be on Steve, Don’t Eat It.

apparently, they do a deep-friend kebab in Scotland. rumour has it, that is has so many calories, they have to put your name on a list to make sure you only eat one a week.
